In 2022, our founders Arjun Verma and Sneha Patel faced every pet owner's nightmare — their dog went missing near their Pune apartment. They knocked on doors, posted on social media, and walked the streets for three anxious days before a neighbour found him.
The experience revealed a fundamental gap: there was no simple, privacy-safe way for a finder to instantly connect with an owner. Paper notes get wet. Sharing your phone number with strangers is risky. Social media posts take time.
Scan It Up was built to solve exactly that — a scannable QR tag that lets anyone contact an owner instantly, without ever seeing the owner's personal details.
